January 8 MPEG - We will discuses and demonstrate the different Multimedia formats. We will talk about WinAmp, Music Match Jukebox, RealPlayer RealAudio, and Video Formats.



February 12 Upgrading Your PC - We will discuss how to upgrade you old system by installing a new processor, or a mother board with processor, graphics subsystems, hard disks and/or floppy disk drives, CD-RW, USB and FireWire..



March 12 Tax & Home/Small Business Accounting Software - This will be our annual software to do your taxes review. Including: Turbo Tax & Tax Cut. We will also discuss Quicken and QuickBooks.



April 9 WEB - Design Your Page - We will discuss and demonstrate different Programs that make the development of your WEB page easy. We will also mention different inclusion techniques.



May 14 New Technologies - We will discuss the new technologies that will be a significant influence in tomorrow's PC's.



June 11 Scanners and OCR - We will talk about scanner technologies and what is available today. Included will be a discussion on Optical Character Readers.



July 9 Operating Systems - We will talk about and demonstrate Windows 98, Windows NT and UNIX.



August 13 Multimedia - We will cover CD ROM, Sound, Video and whatever is necessary for quality Multimedia Presentations on the PC



September 10 Graphics - This will include Photo Editing programs and WEB graphics editors. Some of the fun graphics programs will be covered as well as Graphics conversion utilities.





October 8 Genealogy - We will talk about different Genealogy software, and where to find the information you need. WEB searches will be discussed.



November 12 Printers - We will give our "Annual Printer Update" program. Color and black/white printers, laser, dot-matrix, ink jets, lasers, thermal wax, and dye sublimation will be discussed.



December 10 Utilities - What's new in PC Utilities in commercial and User Supported programs. Software to be discussed will be: Anti-Virus programs, Norton's Utilities, WinZip, PrintScreen, just to name a few.
