TRS-80 Documentation
Preservation Pages
All documentation on this page is in Adobe Acrobat .PDF format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3 or higher to view the documentation found on this page. Use the link below if you don't have the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I am in the process for scanning all of my TRS-80 software and hardware manuals.
Some of the manuals I will convert to Word 97 documents using OCR software to reduce the file size and to make indexing and searching the document possible. Due to the time required to OCR and format documents into Word 97 only a selected few will be converted in this way. These documents will be posted to this page for download.
Most of the manuals I'm scanning however, will be scanned directly into .PDF format at 300dpi (basically a computerized photocopy). Because the pages are stored as graphics these files are to large to post to my Web site. Since the files are too large to post and download I'm going to make them available on CD-ROM along with all the other programs and collections on this site plus all the other TRS-80 files and disks I have converted to virtual format from my collection. I will make these CD's available once I've converted more of the TRS-80 documentation I have available. The CD's will also include high resolution scans of some of the graphics such as schematics and the Word 97 versions of selected documents.
Users who loan me documentation for scanning will receive a CD with the copies of the manuals they contributed plus all the other files and manuals I've currently converted. I will include the CD when I ship back the loaned manuals.
The documentation files available for download took considerable time to scan, OCR and format. Users with Web sites may add links to this page but MAY NOT put links to the individual files OR post these files for download on their sites.
A CD-ROM is available with all the files & manuals on my site plus:
One copy of the CD-ROM is available to registered emulator users for $5 shipping & handling. If you haven't registered yet and want a copy of the current CD-ROM, send $15 ($10 for registration + $5 S&H) to:

Foreign orders please include $8 S&H (total $18). Payment must be in US funds. If payment is by check, the check must be in US funds, payable on a US bank.
I want to give special thanks to the following people who have scanned, OCRed or typed TRS-80 documents and allowed me to post them on my site.
