Booting MP/M 2, also fully banked system.
MP/M 2 is a timesharing system, it can run multiple programs
on 8-bit microcomputers in 1981, with UNIX like job control.
It also was in 1981 when I got one of the first IBM PC's. The system
came with a crippled 8088 processor, not even half as fast as Z80
systems from Cromenco, Kontron and others. A harddisk was not available
for the first machines. The operating system was called PC-DOS 1.0,
it was pretty buggy, it could barley load one single program and not
much else.
A MP/M 2 server just booted under Windows XP, with three additional
terminals besides the console terminal.
