The 1933 pennies

Australian pennies dated 1933 were minted in Melbourne using dies cut from the London obverse and Birmingham reverse master tools.

A fairly common variety is the 33/32 overdate. Apparently six working dies unused during 1932 were over-hobbed with a 1933 punch. Approximately 11% of 1933 pennies are overdates.
