Overdate variety. Difficult to detect without a magnifier. The most obvious feature
is the downward extension of the open upper circle of the second 3.

Australian pennies dated 1933 were minted in Melbourne using dies cut from the
London obverse and Birmingham reverse master tools.
A fairly common variety is the 33/32 overdate. Apparently six working dies unused
during 1932 were over-hobbed with a 1933 punch. Approximately 11% of 1933 pennies
are overdates.
