Australian pennies dated 1933 were minted in Melbourne using dies cut from the
London obverse and Birmingham reverse master tools.
A fairly common variety is the 33/32 overdate. Apparently six working dies unused
during 1932 were over-hobbed with a 1933 punch. Approximately 11% of 1933 pennies
are overdates.
