The 1915 florin occurs in three documented varieties.
Part of the job of minting the 1915 florins was given to Heaton & Sons of
Birmingham and coins from the Heaton mint display an H on the reverse below the
date. The Heaton mint produced 60% of the 1915 issue.
The other variations reported concern the positioning and alignment of the date
numerals of the London issue. I have not determined whether similar variations occur
in the coins struck at the Heaton mint but all five specimens that I have examined
have been identical.
