System Fonts
These system fonts are 8x16 fonts for VGA mode, supplied in the PC Screen Format ( PSF1). To use them, you will need to use SYSFONT to install them into your GEM video driver.
If you are using a video driver with codepage support, then the fonts on this page will almost certainly not be any use to you. You'll have to make do with the two on my DOS codepage page.
In the case of fonts converted from other sources, the characters have been rearranged into the correct positions for GEM, and missing characters synthesized.
The horrible-looking default GEM/3 font.
The rather nicer default ViewMAX font.
From the Linux console fonts, the
Roman font.
