Filename: vdxae.com. 22912 bytes for Amstrad PCW Short: Simple fast viewdata emulator with doc. file & source, self un-loading. vdx.com is based on Philip Wade's Pascal sourced vdu.com and was written in assembly language to give the pace needed to keep up with 9600 bps line speeds. It operates a 40 column screen in viewdata mode with double-height characters as appropriate and inverse video for highlighted backgrounds. A log file of the session in viewdata format is available as is a file of selected ASCII pages. The file should be placed in pub/cpm/amstrad.
