Do you require instructions (Y or N)? Y <-- Yes! 'Othello' is played on an 8 by 8 checker board, with Rows numbered 1 to 8 and Columns lettered A to H. The initial configurartion of the board is all blanks, execpt for the center four squares which form the pattern; O X X O Place your piece (either X or O, at your choice) such that it 'outflanks' mine, creating a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal run of pieces (X or O's) 'bounded' at each end by one of your pieces. This will 'flip' my pieces, converting them to yours. You must capture a piece, if possible. If you have no 'legal' move , you must forfeit your turn of play by entering '0,0' and RETURN.
